Heather, Shannon, and Mike,
Thank you so much for a wonderful swim season and a great
end-of-season celebration! Thank you for all of your dedication and
the hard work you put in to coaching on Katherine's behalf. She
loves swimming, she loves the Makos, and she loves and respects
each of you so much. ... We hope you have a great Summer and we
look forward to seeing you again next season.

Ioana, the kids and I had a nice time at the end-of-season
party. We wanted to let you know that we’re really happy to
have been part of the Makos team this year.
I think you all are running a very good team and we very much
appreciate the Makos organization and the efforts by the coaches.
Coach Becky and Peter did a great job with Matthew and Sophia. We
look forward to a second year with the team.

Comments from parents of swimmers at the 2012 TYR Classic Swim
Meet.
Heather,
Thank YOU and the coaches for this experience. As I mentioned to
you at the hotel, Pete had a really great time all around and was
SO sad it all ended yesterday. Nick and I completely appreciate the
huge effort this meet required from the coaching staff and wanted
to let you all know how much it meant to us and more importantly to
our swimmer. Hope everyone gets to take a much deserved breather
over the holidays:)
Thank you Heather for such a wonderful swim club! Gillian had
the best time this weekend! It was such a great experience for her
and it will be worth every yawn today!
She has always come from practice or a meet with good
experiences, even if she didn’t have the best day, she still
gets positive reinforcement and constructive things she can work
on. She is happy here and wants to work hard for herself and her
coaches. I attribute that to being a part of an awesome club!
Thanks to you and your coaching staff who put in countless hours
to ensure our kids are happy and healthy mentally and physically!
Can’t wait to see all of the results. Gillian said
everyone really had some great times!

Thank you for all your leadership and organization. Decker had a
fantastic time and is looking forward to going next year (if he
qualifies).
Do you have an email for Mike? I wanted to get Decker's split on
his 100 Free in the 400 free relay. Mike swam him as anchor to see
what he could do “swimming scared and last!” We were
curious about his time…
Hi Heather,
I want to thank you for a WONDERFUL weekend. I know the
logistical nightmare that must go into planning such a large event.
Everything was great and Jakob had the time of his life. I
especially want to thank you for wiping away tears (twice). We are
working on that.
We are so blessed to be part of the Mako family!

Coach Heather,
In the off chance that no one has thought to thank you for
dealing (beautifully) with this HUGE hassle, please know that we
truly appreciate your work on this. I’m sure you needed this
pool closure like you need some lead flippers…and right
before Thanksgiving!!
Speaking of which, Kelly’s involvement in the Makos is one of
the many things for which we’re thankful.

I have been meaning to tell you that Michael is really, really
liking his new practice group a lot. He is very comfortable there,
likes his coach and the boys in his lane, and feels like it’s
just the right amount of hard. In fact, he said just the other day
how he really wishes Blair had had the opportunity to swim with
Peter (even though Peter doesn’t really coach Michael’s
lane very often) – he said that Blair would have loved
swimming with that group.

My daughter started for her first time w/ your coaches last
night. She is in the Highschool Prep - we initially signed up for
the 3mo Fall program. I did that, so I could see if it was a good
fit. As soon as (she) got out of the pool last night - she asked if
she could continue through to May/June. I know that everything is
full at this point. But if there is a waitlist - she would really
like to be on it for the 3 other sessions.

Awesome job last night, Heather. I was in and out to pick up
Michael's gear in 10 minutes! So fast I didn't get to say "Hi".

Heather,
I have loved being a part of the Makos since your charter year.
Thank you for the fun and sharing your talents with my girls. I
don’t think their love (or mine) of the sport would have
continued without you and the fine coaching staff you assembled.
Rachael will be swimming and coaching this year for the Villa
Gorillas. I will be there too. Although she will have one more
season of eligibility after her freshman year, I’m not sure
she will swim.
