GMU will be closing today at Noon, and with the inclement weather, we have decided to cancel practices tonight, Friday, February 5.

As a reminder, there are no practices tomorrow, Saturday, February 6.
 
I will send out an email on Sunday evening regarding scheduled practices for Monday, February 8.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and encourage you to make up your missed practice/s at your earliest convenience.

Currently MAKO has 1 starters, Tony Fitz, who is also our Officials Chair.  Tony is responsible for organizing officials, and for running all of our MAKO hosted meets, but he can't do everything at every meet.  We have a bunch of terrific Stroke and Turn judges, and can always use a few more, and hope that some parents will want to become Referees or Starters one day.

 

On that note, there is a Starters clinic on Saturday, February 13 @ Fairland Aquatic Center in Laurel Maryland at 9:00 AM. This would be perfect timing to take the class and then come to our meet in March and practice.

The stroke & turn clinic is in McLean @ Spring Hill Recreational Center on Sunday, February 7 at 1:00 PM.
