Tom Dolan Results: Winners, Records Broken and More

Congratulations MAKOS!
 
Congratulations to our MAKO swimmers who won their events this weekend at the Tom Dolan Meet, and those who also set new team records! 
Event winners from the Christmas Championship meet will be added once the results are posted.
 
1st Places
 
Amanda Kendall won the Women’s Open 100 Fly and set a new team record with a time of 55.26. She also broke her existing team record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.06, and in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 51.24.

Sean Fletcher  won the Men’s Open 100 Fly. Sean also set a new team record in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 45.84.

Sean Fletcher, Joey Kelly, Mitch Phillips, and Geoff Bobsin won the Men’s Open 400 Freestyle Relay, and set a new team record with a time of 3:05.57.

 

Natalie Leake, Elizabeth Hall, Jean DeOrnellas, and Amanda Kendall won the Women’s Open 200 Freestyle Relay.
 
Team Records Broken
 
Natalie Leake broke her existing team records in the 15-16 yr old, and Open 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:05.76.
Logan Coulson-Moore set a new team record in the 11-12 yr old 50 Backstroke with a time of 29.38. She also broke her existing team record in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:03.85.
Geoff Bobsin, Sean Fletcher, Mitch Phillips, and Joey Kelly set a new team record in the Men’s Open 200 Freestyle Relay, with a time of 1:26.27.
Geoff Bobsin, Peter Slattery, Sean Fletcher, and Mitch Phillips set a new team record in the Men’s Open 200 Medley Relay, with a time of 1:36.84.
Amanda Kendall, Elizabeth Hall, Theresa Harvey, and Jean DeOrnellas set a new team record in the Women’s Open 400 Freestyle Relay, with a time of 3:29.86.
 
Logan Coulson- Moore, Mauve Griffin, Rachel Anderson, and Amy Berglund set a new team record in the 11-12 yr old 200 Medley Relay, with a time of 1:59.11.
Rachel Ward, Rachel Anderson, Logan Coulson-Moore, and Amy Berglund set a new team record in the 11-12 yr old 400 Freestyle Relay, with a time of 3:55.78.
 
Geoff Bobsin, Sean Fletcher, Elizabeth Hall, Amanda Kendall, and Mitch Phillips also qualified for the short course 2008 Junior National Swimming Championships in Austin, Texas on December 11-13.  Several of these swimmers will be competing this week, and we wish them GOOD LUCK!
