|Christmas Invitational - Pajama Program Donations|| |
November 15, 2011
The Mason Makos are proud to support the Pajama Program Donation Drive at the Mako Christmas Invitational. When you come to the meet, please bring in some new pajamas or a new bed time book to donate to this worthy charity.
The Pajama Program, founded in 2001 is a 501 (c) (3) children’s charity. The Pajama Program's mission is to provide new, warm pajamas to needy children nationwide, many waiting and hoping to be adopted. Too often, these youngsters have been abused or abandoned and in most cases, have never enjoyed the simple comfort of having a loving mother or father tuck them in at bedtime. By contributing to a warmer and more nurturing environment when they are at their most vulnerable, the Pajama Program gives them a sense of love and belonging.
Mako mom Donna Karlinchak leads the Virginia Chapter, and Donna has a shelter in Fairfax where she will be delivering your donations. Donna will be in the concessions area to take your donations during the Mako Christmas invitational.
