|First Day(s) of Practice - Gear and More|| |
Sep 12, 2011
Practices have started, and it was great to see such a good turnout this morning. Hopefully, this evenings practices will also go well.
Remember: Coach Heather (and some faithful
volunteers) will be at the swimmer entrance next to the pool and
Lot C on Monday through Friday evenings, as well as Saturday
morning this week distributing parking passes, bag tags, and team
gear. The backordered team suits have still not been
delivered by NIKE. Coach Heather will email those of you who
are still waiting for your suits when they arrive.
Please note that coaches are requiring that each swimmer have their own pair of fins during practice. Many of you have purchased them from Coach Heather already. We also have a large grey equipment bin at the pool that contains several pairs of fins that you may borrow during practice. We cannot promise that your size fins will be there each time, therefore we encourage you to have your own. If you would like to purchase fins from Coach Heather, email your shoe size and Coach Heather will bring them to practice this week. The cost is $25. If you'd like to also order an equipment bag to hold your gear, the cost is $12.

Policies and Procedures & Drop-Off & Pick Up Map
Please read over the Policies and Procedures and the Drop-Off & Pick-Up map so that you understand the expectations and rules of the Aquatics and Fitness Center.
As a reminder, parents who wish to escort younger swimmers to the locker rooms and/or pool deck must purchase a bag tag from Coach Heatehr prior to entering through the swim team entry doors. Parents need to proceed to spectator seating for the duration of the practice times or to the bleacher area in the Recreation Pool. Please note that parents may not stand on the pool deck in either pool during practices. The tags will cost $5 and can be purchased during the first week of practices.
If you have any questions about accessing the web site, entering the meets, getting emails, or other subjects, please check out the FAQ before emailing Coach Heather or our web administrator, Cathy Summers. Hopefully, you will find your answer there and not be stuck while waiting for one of us to reply.
